This is very team and department specific, but - I had a good manager that appreciated my hard work and can give directions / tries his best to remove road-blocks. Company culture is very friendly most of the time - Directors are extremely approachable and generous (buy coffee for you, give you food). These little gestures make work much more enjoyable. Work life balance wise - there is the occasional OT period, but you can leave on time most of the time (or at most a +30 mins to 1 hour)
