Pros
Culture of accountability Top tier exec team across departments Best of breed product that keeps successfully expanding into new workloads. By and large - nice, well intentioned people (which is evident in the culture) Honest marketing externally - we can deliver on the product as advertised. This leads to happy customers. This is not the norm in this industry. I've been with Snowflake over half a decade, and i've never been more excited about the next 12 months. New use cases (think security, apps, data clean room + a lot more), new initiatives, hyper focused teams - Snowflake is operating as a well oiled machine and is just scratching it's potential.
Cons
The business has to constantly revolt against the red tape that plagues large organizations. Slow responses, lack of self starter mentality, passing the buck down the line - it pops up more often as the company scales. Those that excel are able to navigate it.
