Pros

There is not a lot of red-tape to prevent you from getting actual work done. Everyone here is trusted to make smart decisions so we spend time focusing on the goal rather than getting hung up on the little things. Everyone here is approachable and relaxed so it makes the workplace feel like somewhere you actually want to be every day.

So many Perks:
Frozen Yogurt Bar
Coffee Bar
Unlimited Drinks
Valet Parking
Subsidised Lunch

Cons

The output of every person seems like 2-3 times more than anywhere I've ever worked. Partially because it is expected and partially because everyone loves what they do.

    Pros

Very interesting place to say the least. The employees here are great to work with and always helpful to train you. The job in itself is interesting and somewhat satisfying. Lots of “mandatory” overtime if that’s what you like. Benefits are pretty well, but not as good as what others on here say.

    Cons

Schedules are reactive than proactive, your schedule changes daily, you never have a life because you work 60+ hours most weeks. You’re told you will be working 50 hrs a week at your interview but that’s a myth. Schedules are terrible and hours are very odd. The pay is no where close to the amount of talent they hire. At the end you’re expendable and they could care less if stay or not, you’re easily replaceable. Lots of Elon Musk groupies here. If you love spending time with your family this is not the place for you. You work 6 Days a week 10 hours a day, and 6 Days a week 12 hours a day during launch time.

    Advice to Management

Hire schedulers to do the job right, HIRE SCHEDULERS!!. Hire more people, start getting a system down, troubleshoot problems and find actual permanent fixes not band-aides. Tell prospective employees at the interview process about the true hours worked and amount of time spent working and checking emails from Home, etc. If I had been told the truth I wouldn’t have accepted the offer. Work, life balance is terrible, get better tools to get the job done right, we are working on space equipment here.
