Unfortunately, Bright House has been bought by Charter Communications and the future looks less positive. The perception is that Bright House was an afterthought to the Charter-Time Warner merger, and employees are being used to fill positions 'willy-nilly' with no regard for skill or location. Charter has definitely taken a "take it or leave it" attitude with Bright House employees. Current estimates are that 80% of the IT staff will leave the company rather than move to the mandated "St. Louis" location. Much good talent is being lost and the larger corporation will have a hard time continuing to make money here at Bright House.
