Pros

The benefits are really great

Cons

They will hire you as a chat sales agent but you will actually be thrown on the phones as needed since they are so understaffed in the voice department. They are understaffed in chat too, but they don’t put voice agents on the chat to help. They would rather just turn off the chat function on the website and make all the chat agents take phone calls. You get no training on how to handle phone calls, but your managers will constantly be ridding you about your metrics not being good enough since you have different metrics to meet when you take phone calls. The on the job training just teaches you how to use all of the online applications and programs you need to do the job. It doesn’t actually teach you how to do the job. So your already at a disadvantage of not knowing how to do your job as a chat representative, and then you have to figure out how to take phone calls too.
