Cons
Engineering organization is in total shambles and disarray and this starts at the top with no vision, clear direction or priorities. Equity firm runs day to day operations and places puppets around. Clearly inexperienced and inept Engineering management leadership which shows on several fronts: lack of well thought out architecture, solution designs, resource planning, on boarding for engineers, testing strategy, scalable web architecture. Some Product teams are constantly overwhelmed and have high Production support and very poor work life balance while other teams seem to have it easy and great work life balance. Why is management turning a blind eye to this? Agile adoption on paper but in reality Agile/Scrum is a joke as very minimal of whats planned is actually executed due to lack of experienced Product Managers, lack of alignment, and lack of true Agile best practices coaching. They want us to practice Agile but the work committed in 2 week Sprints is impossible in reality as teams end up working on unplanned work and unending Production support. Somethings wrong but its not being addressed because of the pressure to deliver and make lofty commitments which can not be met.
