      Pros

      Pay is great and they're flexible with my school schedule. I love watching tv at work and being all about sports!

      Cons

      Average work week is about 25 hours (in used to 35+) and our location is a slower one. I don't really get a lot of communication from the owner (which should be more since I'm the assistant manager). Would also like to move up and be asked about how I feel in my position.

      Pay, schedule flexibility, growth opportunities, company events, benefits

      Cons

      The pay is excellent as long as you’re performance is strong and especially if your flexible with your schedule and full time. But if you’re not a good performer or super part time, this might not be the best place for you.

      Pros

      Great hourly pay with tips. Averaged about $38 to $40 an hour. Great starting place. They do offer training. The co-workers were nice at my location. Management does help you with flexible scheduling so if you have children, it works out great.

      Cons

      Burnout is real. Expected to complete service within an allotted short time. Too many clients come in that want expensive barbershop cuts but want to pay the lowest price (they really shouldn’t even go to sport clips for). Also, way too many clients with long hair wanting full scissor cuts. They won’t turn away clients even if the cuts they ask for are — are not something sport clips does or allows for a lot of time. TV’s get annoying after a while (too loud).
