      Pros

      Upbeat environment, friendly coworkers, super caring owners, almost always busy, great pay!! As long as you are motivated you will hit your goals and make a lot in your paycheck, plus the tips are wonderful! I've been able to support my family on my own while my husband was unemployed and have made enough here that we have been okay! Very involved with the community and do so many fundraising events!

      Cons

      There really aren't any! Nothing you wouldn't expect in this industry. Work nights and weekends, but we close early on weekends so you still have time for a life :)

      Pay, schedule flexibility, growth opportunities, company events, benefits

      Cons

      The pay is excellent as long as you’re performance is strong and especially if your flexible with your schedule and full time. But if you’re not a good performer or super part time, this might not be the best place for you.

      Pros

      Great hourly pay with tips. Averaged about $38 to $40 an hour. Great starting place. They do offer training. The co-workers were nice at my location. Management does help you with flexible scheduling so if you have children, it works out great.

      Cons

      Burnout is real. Expected to complete service within an allotted short time. Too many clients come in that want expensive barbershop cuts but want to pay the lowest price (they really shouldn’t even go to sport clips for). Also, way too many clients with long hair wanting full scissor cuts. They won’t turn away clients even if the cuts they ask for are — are not something sport clips does or allows for a lot of time. TV’s get annoying after a while (too loud).
