      Pros

      Team is great. Pay is better than any franchise around. Paid vacation after two years. Room for advancement at times.

      Cons

      Franchise can changed anything they like at anytime. Meaning it was paid vacation after 1 year when started and now its after 2 years without any heads up of changing. Commission has changed as well to where we have to sell at least 1.10 retail per client intead of a 1.00 and do at least 35% backbar(shampoos) instead of the 30% when i started. You have to meet those goals in order to receive 40% of anything over 1500 in service sales.

      Cons

      The pay is excellent as long as you’re performance is strong and especially if your flexible with your schedule and full time. But if you’re not a good performer or super part time, this might not be the best place for you.

      Pros

      Great hourly pay with tips. Averaged about $38 to $40 an hour. Great starting place. They do offer training. The co-workers were nice at my location. Management does help you with flexible scheduling so if you have children, it works out great.

      Cons

      Burnout is real. Expected to complete service within an allotted short time. Too many clients come in that want expensive barbershop cuts but want to pay the lowest price (they really shouldn’t even go to sport clips for). Also, way too many clients with long hair wanting full scissor cuts. They won’t turn away clients even if the cuts they ask for are — are not something sport clips does or allows for a lot of time. TV’s get annoying after a while (too loud).
