Pros

- If you're lucky, they'll let you work remotely in a low COL area if you complain that living in Vancouver is too expensive. - If you're lucky, you may get a good manager that filters out the cons of working at T2 Systems for you.

Cons

- Crazy micromanagement. You'll get phone calls from managers or VPs when you never even gave them your personal phone number. Sometimes they'll even try to call you during evenings or weekends for no good reasons when a simple email could suffice. - Managers love to blame others rather than doing any constructive work. They'll take credits when everything is going well, and blame others when everything is going bad. - Strong preferences towards certain ethnicity. VPs making rude comments to certain demographic cohorts. They'll even belittle you during the hiring process. You'll start to understand why other companies have to mention about diversity and inclusiveness. - Long history of irresponsible alcohol consumption, some of them causing external formal complaints. It's not seen as something negative, it's even a memorable moment for some. No outcome, except a slap on the wrist, since the beer-on-tap is still there in the kitchen. - People are promoted to roles they are not qualified for. Others have to do more work to compensate for these people's incompetency. - Quarterly financial reports dressed up to look better than it is. Even so, certain people are allowed take business trips every other month for no good reasons. Inventory is a mess because management does not know what they're doing and do not hold themselves accountable. - Company values are just a lip service. Winning as a team means that management are sitting at their meetings with their hands behind their heads, sending out thank you emails to the handful of people delivering the commitments. Working smart means to get someone else to do your work for you. Lead with integrity means that you must do what you're told by management. - At the beginning of COVID-19, they took away RRSP matching and 20% of your pay for a four-day work week. There was also a confirmed case in the building, but no action was taken. Everyone, except production and warehouse, was sent home to work remotely. Yet, some managers will try to make you go in the office to do something you're not comfortable with, when they're not even willing to do it themselves.
