Pros
-Now that I have gotten a second job, I realize how easy this job was. A lot of times it is "dead" in the store, and you can just focus on cleaning or read a magazine or something. This is mostly on days where the weather is cold/rainy. -Another good reason to work here is that you get one small product per shift and you can eat as many samples as you want! TRUST ME, this is great! And it's all healthy so you don't have to worry about gaining weight. -A third reason to work here is that management is nice. Of course this just depends on the location you work at since this is a franchise, but the manager and owner at the store I worked at were nice. -Fourth reason to work here is that the hours are flexible. What I miss about this job is that I could just text any of my coworkers and ask them to switch shifts or cover a shift. It was as easy as that. I guess that is all I can think of, but it really was a great first job! I worked there for over a year. It wasn't too stressful, and the free yogurt was awesome.
Cons
-You probably won't get over 20 hours a week. And that was during the summer when were busy. Expect to only work like 2 days a week during the winter. Maybe this just depends on the situation, but MOST of the people that I worked with got a small amount of hours each week. -You have to ask for a raise, you don't just get one. And you have to tell them why you deserve a raise. -Sometimes, I guess due to saving money, they don't have enough people working when it's busy. We used to have 3 people closing the store, which split up all the work into 3, but then they started having us close with one or two people. It sucks because you have to do more work, and when it's busy, you have no extra help so the line gets really backed up. -Some of the customers get annoying after a while. Like the ones who say "is this yogurt?" or the ones who are rude or whatever. But that's anywhere so yeah. -You get yogurt splatters all over your clothes by the end of the night. -having to clean the bathrooms (yuck!)
