I have been working at TCBY full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The customer base, and atmosphere. It's very refreshing and upbeat.

    Cons

It's very difficult with the owner never showing up. Met him two years ago whenever I first started, haven't since.

    Advice to Management

Communication is key. If you can't do it yourself, let me do it. Corporate is amazing, and I wish I could be hands on outside the store.

I worked at TCBY full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Coworkers are nice, and the hours/pay is good for a High School Student Does not require any training, it's mostly just janitorial duties

    Cons

Management is extremely screwed up. You can progress up to a shift leader but that's about it. Also, they promise pay raises but never deliver them. I didn't receive a single pay raise throughout my year career there. They also run through employees because of the screwed up management. Me and only 1 other person lasted a full year. Everyone else I knew lasted only 1 month on average.

    Advice to Management

Actually get to know your employees. I saw upper management maybe once, the rest of the time I never made it past my manager, who promised to relay information, but it was never passed on

    Pros

Tips, friendly environment, nice customers, 20% discount + free froyo everyday you work at least 3 hours, great frozen yogurt, excellent boss & coworkers

    Cons

From my personal experience at our location scheduling was difficult, too many workers & not enough hours to go around. Other than that, it was great!

    I worked at TCBY part-time

    Pros

No pros except getting at least paid. But pay doesnt get higher than probably 50cents over minimum wage and will make you appreciate new job more.

    Cons

Almost everything from pay to standing outside in heat closing a yogurt place when i was 17 with another 17 year old doesnt feel safe and owner watches you through camera 24/7

    Advice to Management

Be more reasonable and nicer while talking to employees and a bit of a raise.

I worked at TCBY part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

While I was an employee at TCBY, the management was flexible with my school schedule. It was also easy to earn more responsibilities within the store.

    Cons

Even though it was easy to gain more responsibilities, the management took advantage of the fact that I was in high school and did not have a lot of previous work experience.

    Advice to Management

Treat the younger employees with a greater amount of respect. Also, try to depend less on the employees getting the TCBY name out on their personal social media accounts.

I have been working at TCBY part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Free yogurt, lots of tasks that will look good on a resume, manage yourself most days. routine is easy to learn, decent hours at my location, small tip amounts added to checks, easy customer service, started work two days after being interviewed

    Cons

Doing literally everything by yourself, very hard to keep store stocked and clean when busy, been doing managerial work such as opening since I started (over 8 months) for minimum wage with no raise, randomly asked to do inventory/ other tasks when already very busy

    Advice to Management

Having a coworker shouldn't really be a luxury and your workers ought to be paid fairly if they're doing manager work, don't take short cuts

    Pros

I'm the store manager. It's bright and colorful. Upbeat music and a happy atmosphere.

    Cons

The pay sucks! $9 per hour. The owners are terrible.

    Advice to Management

Not for management but the owners. They need to appreciate the employees more
