Pros

Large firm with long standing clients. Offers great retirement benefits.

Cons

The firm does not live by their core values and code of business ethics. You will be worked to death and not rewarded for your work. They will not pay your required overtime even if you work beyond 40 hours. You will be put down emotionally and mentally to the point of exhaustion and pushed out of the firm. Beware of false promises.

Pros

Great work life balance, good benefits, decent pay, ease of running your own practice as an “advisor”, and healthy work environment

Cons

Management styles can vary and affect your experience, upper management doesn’t seem to be well equipped to ensure the organization’s success but it is resilient nonetheless.

Lack of strategic clarity, culture that is unused to making sales, constant and debilitating reorganizations.
