Pros
good pay & benefits and the men and women I work with are some of the best. We have a few that shouldn't have a job, but you have that everywhere you go. Could be a great place work the work is not bad its the management.
Cons
Don't know where to begin, Start at the beginning. I have been working at the Ambridge plant for over 8 years, loved my job when I started there. TMK took over and we had a change in Plant superintendent and down hill from there. They lie about the there safety numbers to the point its criminal and someone should go to jail. Lower Management is scared of upper and upper is scared of every one above them. I have never seen so much waste in my life, where they would put in a million dollar piece equipment and doesn't work so they just say oh well we will work around it or not use it. They waste so much money at that Ambridge plant I can't see how we make any money. There is no team work at all if you what to work for a place where you feel like part of a team and what to make a company better this is not the place. They have a 1930's style of management, Us against them. honestly this went from being the best job I ever had to the worst job I ever had in less then 8 years. I have seen a guy get crushed by pipe another lose his foot and another guy break both of his wrist. I seen a man die before my eyes when he fell through the roof and landing on concrete but we have a great safety record. How does that happen, well it was the workers fault and the unsafe workplace we work in. We have a saying at the Ambridge plant Keep your head up and watch your back cause if you get hurt the company will find a way to blame you for the accident. I could write 20 pages of bad things about this place but you get the point. That's why I'm looking for a new job every day. I guess this is what it likes working for the Russians.
