Pros

Very flexible schedule. Freedom to address issues from a number of angles. Most of the people are fun to work with. We used to do some fun things (cookouts, etc.) however, the new budgets have gotten rid of all fun for the most part. Target addresses issues of workplace harassment, wrongdoings, etc. with full vigor and attention. If you come to work and do a great job, you won't have any problems.

Cons

Money is TIGHT. The stores are literally hanging by strings, but of course, expectations only continue to rise. I realize that district management has a job to do, however, just a little honesty would go a long way with most people. It gets old pretending that everything in Target Land is perfect and always will be. Perhaps a little honesty and understanding would reach people more personally and get some extra motivation from the employees. Many team members are beginning to feel that they are inadequate, when what is really inadequate are the resources provided to them.
