Pros

OutCast has some of the best company culture I've experienced. There are some people who bring others down but then you also make friends that help you get through the day to day B.S. Lot's of amazing people if you build relationships with the right ones. If it wasn't for the people, I would've hated working here. Lot's of happy hours (albeit because the work is so stressful) and opportunity to work with amazing clients. You can always ask for more work so there are opportunities to grow.

Cons

You will work EXTREMELY long hours here. Since the work environment in so fast paced, emails often go ignored especially if you are more entry level which is totally unfair and makes it seem as though your voice doesn't matter. I often had to resend emails 3-4 times with them STILL being ignored by upper management. Seems as though everyone looks out for themselves which can create a blaming process in front of team leads and clients via email which isn't healthy. You don't get to choose your clients so hopefully you'll be lucky enough to land a big name such as HBO, Facebook, Instagram or Airbnb etc. Because if you're going to have no work life balance you might as well do it for companies that will add something special to your resume. Office is primarily women, so it's always refreshing when males are hired. EVERY account wants your undivided attention which makes every workday stressful (You're usually on 3-4 accounts) Upper management (AAE's, AE's, SAE's AS's) stop throwing your work on associates at the end of the day and think about how you would feel if someone did this to you. People are fired here. Watch your back, always act eager, don't tell your business to too many people even your coaches may throw you under the bus, but obviously this is a case by case basis. It's majority great people but there are also those bad apples.

Pros

- Exposure to big-name clients and industry giants. Many employees take in-house roles at well-known tech companies after working here.

Cons

- Toxic, cliquey workplace culture. Those that have been at Outcast long are shown a lot of favoritism. - No work-life balance. Expect extremely long hours. You will need to justify signing off or stepping away from your desk if you have any kind of life outside of work. You will be expected to sign on early in the morning or late at night for needier clients who have immediate access to you via Slack. Expect to work even if you’re on PTO. - Employees are encouraged to “snitch” on one another. - Accounts are improperly staffed and expectations are not clearly laid out. - Managers offer conflicting advice and speak poorly of one another. - Members of the leadership team that are notoriously hot-headed and hard to please are both feared and rewarded.
