Pros

The only good thing was they told me I could finish out my contract and they would let me go to interviews and/or work from home to assist in my job search. I did respect that very much.

Cons

No work life balance. Unfair. Almost entirely ex-military personnel. They do anything that that Oklahoma Turnpike Association tells them to regardless of how it affects their employees. They would keep me up all night for on-call and then expect me back in the office in the morning with no sleep. My workspace was 6x6 cubicle that the desk barely fit in. Once during a power outage, they made us sit in the dark and stare at our blank computer screens for over 2 hours just in case the power came back on and when it did there was barely an hour left in the day.

Pros

Working at TransCore offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative congestion pricing and tolling technology solutions that have a real impact on communities. Employees can gain valuable experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects, collaborate with skilled professionals, and develop their careers in a technology-driven environment.

Cons

Pay and benefits could be better, in particular would like more vacation time. Conflicting priorities and sometimes the plan keeps changing making it hard to complete tasks on time.
