Pros

Mission and values of the organization; commitment of employees and physicians

Cons

Lack of courtesy, appreciation and respect from leaders. No input considered from others. CEO tells anyone what they want to hear then works behind a few to demand what he wants, how he wants, when he wants. Other leaders follow blindly and middle management is frustrated. CEO is no longer John Proust it is Mark Clement

Pros

I’ve worked at a few of the hospital systems in the city and have to say I think TriHealth is one of the better ones. The benefits are relatively affordable as long as you’re willing to use TriHealth providers. Nursing has a well defined clinical ladder process and new grad onboarding process.

Cons

Pay is a little low to start because of the clinical ladder process. You have to be there a year before you can apply to advance and get the pay bump. That feels a bit…slimy…because all of the reasons I am eligible for advancement existed when I was hired, so why not just hire in at that level? PTO accrual is so slow. And short term disability is only 60% of your base pay so you also lose your critical care incentive and differentials, etc so it’s more like 40-50% of your pay, so you better hope you don’t need to be out for any period of time.
