Pros
I do not have alot of experience with other companies, however I do talk with my colleagues from other companies and they do not have things like: - The CEO of a $7B+ company taking time to have lunch at least monthly with small groups of random employees...and really getting to know them - The true feeling of "family" and willing to do what needs to be done to take care employees and their families - As a veteran, the support for the Veteran program here is SECOND TO NONE! Core values of this company almost align perfectly with the Core Values of Military Service (Integrity, Service, Excellence, etc) - Pay, benefits, opportunities are very good!
Cons
- It is right off I35 and traffic is always terrible - Most jobs do require alot of travel - Old-school "done it this way for 20 years" mentality does sometime limit the desire to automate and embrace technological advantages.
