Pros

I have been working with UST for last 2.5 years. Employee friendly company. Great Work Life Balance. Flexible timing Very lively and friendly employees. Job Security for Permanent employees Ample training on new technologies If you are proactive u can get exposure in different technologies Great for Freshers, u can get lot of learning. Probably the only company which has not fired employees during 2008-9 recession(recession free !! ) Lots and lots of co-curricular activities( fun time yeahhh !! ). Flat hierarchy( Very approachable management ) I am optimistic that after 2 years or so company is going to be a recognized name in IT sector ( UST is on a verge of explosive growth due to its geographical presence in various countries.) hike is based on performance basis ( ok types yearly hike around 9-15% average )

Cons

Regional/Mallu favoritism at all levels really polluting the work culture. Sometimes give very late joining for freshers. Frequent changing HR policies. Very very less onsite opportunity if you are not from South. Main work location is trivandrum. Not at all good for Contract employess(contract employees better watch it !! ) False promises by top management related to culture and values.
