Pros

If you are un-ambitious Malayalee, Trivandrum is a great location. Laid back, work when you can, flexible, 'no fire' policies. Esp. good for family oriented career women, from Trivandrum.

Cons

Conflicting priorities, revenue focused, not very employee friendly in locations other than Trivandrum. Weird processes and policies. Unclear business strategy, no transparency in several critical areas e.g. variable pay, financials. Very dependent on relationships, all processes will require approvals in the respective tools, followed by email approvals and need several follow up calls and emails to get even simple things accomplished. Cramped and frequently unergonomic working conditions, offices are over crowded, basic infrastructure - desktops etc., are minimal. Restrictive, narrow minded policies - no relationship to the core values of the company - Humanity, Integrity and Humility. Excellence is not even part of the credo here. If you are a software engineer, steer clear - there is very little real engineering here. Peer learning is completely absent. Great for mediocre developers and testers. Management depth is not adequate for a company of this size. Very little thought leadership. Focused on delivery, not product quality, or real innovation. About 40% of the company can be fired esp. from several overlapping support functions, with zero impact to functioning. Old timers laze and do rubber stamping for weird processes, do nonsensical stuff that does not add value to the employee, the management or the customer.
