Pros

It was remote. That's about it.

Cons

This position involves working in one of the worst call center environments I have ever experienced. Anyone who wants to work here should expect back-to-back calls from angry clients while everything you say and do is recorded. Despite claiming that they don't want to hire robots, they tend to get pretty upset when you don't repeat every single thing they include in your script. And help is rarely ever around when you need it so if a customer is calling you with a complex issue, you better hope you know how to research it yourself or that it's not too complex or immediate that you can't call them back because that's about the only way you can come close to helping anyone promptly in here. Combine all these factors and you have a job that would burn any sane person out almost immediately.

Pros

One of the things I value most about UST is the people. I have worked with supportive colleagues and leaders who are approachable and willing to help when needed. If you take ownership of your work and consistently deliver, you are trusted with greater responsibilities rather than being micromanaged. The company offers exposure to global clients, diverse technologies, and teams across different regions, which keeps the work interesting and helps you grow professionally. Learning opportunities are available for those who actively seek them out, and I have always felt encouraged to share ideas and improve the way we work. Like any large organization, your experience will depend on your project and manager, but overall I have found UST to have a collaborative culture where people genuinely work together to solve problems and support each other's success.

Cons

Cons Work life balance can vary depending on the project. Some delivery phases require extended hours, but better planning during peak periods would help.
