Pros

- Nice people to work with, I can count on one hand the people I haven't liked working with here and luckily they've all left - Interesting work, I enjoy working with customers and our products are good and well received in our markets - Pay is pretty good and competitive - Work life balance has gotten better but that might also be a result of setting my own boundaries the longer i've been here - Flexibility to change roles, if you've earned it

Cons

- Only focused on hiring people from Epic, if you don't have previous experience at Epic don't bother applying for any kind of consulting role/leadership role - Culture is suffering based on the above, people see what HR is doing and the hiring trend especially in leadership....do any of us actually have a shot at a leadership role? - Benefits have decreased over time, its disappointing - Lacking PTO/average maternity leave, friends are always shocked when I tell them what our policies are compared to other tech companies

Pros

Large presence in the industry and good-hearted, intelligent, and well-meaning people work there. Stable company, not going to be purchased by private equity and endure large layoffs

Cons

part of their motto is "do the right thing" but that's not applied when it comes to salaries or work-life balance. working weekends and well past normal hours seems to be a regular thing that most people are doing. a manager's solution to my issue of having more work than was feasible to complete was just to work longer days. "Veeva Speed" is a sugarcoated phrase everyone uses to indicate being overworked and initial training is like drinking from a fire hose; this company makes enough money to hire the correct amount of people to do the work and pay them fairly.
