Pros

Veeva offers a dynamic work environment that allows you share ideas openly and freely. You are encouraged to implement your ideas and if they don't work, try something different. You have flexible hours and a flexible work environment. What's important is that you do your job, you do it well and no questions are asked. If you want a new position in the company, you are encouraged to speak to your manager about it and they will help you get there. Growth opportunities are truly endless. The company has recently added "employee success" as one of the top three values in the company; they have adjusted their focus to ensure they keep happy employees and productive employees.

Cons

It can be an intimidating work environment with a highly intelligent staff. Because we work remotely, you often don't meet your colleagues face-to-face. This can be challenging because it takes a bit longer to get to know people and to truly know who you can go do for certain questions.

Pros

Large presence in the industry and good-hearted, intelligent, and well-meaning people work there. Stable company, not going to be purchased by private equity and endure large layoffs

Cons

part of their motto is "do the right thing" but that's not applied when it comes to salaries or work-life balance. working weekends and well past normal hours seems to be a regular thing that most people are doing. a manager's solution to my issue of having more work than was feasible to complete was just to work longer days. "Veeva Speed" is a sugarcoated phrase everyone uses to indicate being overworked and initial training is like drinking from a fire hose; this company makes enough money to hire the correct amount of people to do the work and pay them fairly.
