Firm has a long history and a great reputation. They have made changes to allow a bit more flexibility recently. Beautiful offices in great, convenient locations. Professional environment. the firm pays well, but other factors bring pay down somewhat.
Cons
parking/transit and benefits are very expensive due to central downtown office locations. Plan for your take home pay to be a minimum of 3 - 4k lower per year as a result. culture/environment is very stratified and hierarchical. Attorneys get away with unprofessional behavior. Admin employees are held to a different set of rules/standards which put them at a disadvantage in terms of flexibility and balance. firm is also behind the times in many ways and the status quo is hard to challenge.
