Pros

The opportunity to learn technology is very good. An abundance of information available if you are willing to dig for it. Benefits are decent, company matching for 401K is good with up to an additional % at the end of the year depending on how the company does. Nice extra kicker into 401K. Fast paced work environment for sure one will never be bored in this job. Constant information overload and always new challenges coming your way. Never a dull moment. Many vendors equipment offerings. Constant vendor involvement with teaming, intense work environment. Advanced training available when funding is available.

Cons

Politics a huge down fall. Antiquated telephone systems if you can believe that since it is a telecom company. Don't use what is sold internally. Especially Phone equipment at desks. Not the most qualified individuals in some positions but I guess that may be a downside in any company. Too many systems to know and understand to find information about existing customers information. Too many passwords to remember must write them down and constantly changing monthly to update. Funding always being cut for training/travel. Don't have much more to say in regard to down sides. Hectic work invironment at times with customer complaints.

Pros

Compensation is competitive but you will work very hard for it. Culture is excellent and exhibited and practiced from the top down. Benefits are excellent and cost reasonable. 401k match and profit sharing. Lots of training and professional development opportunities. Can advance if you're willing to relocate.

Cons

Company is trying to transform into what it wants to be beyond a wireless carrier (cloud?, security?, telematics?, wholesaler?, etc) and is struggling with a vision, resources, and org structure to make it a reality. Several re-organizations over last few years so job security has frequently been a question. Often delayed response to competitors caused by management's concern that acting would result in not meeting Wall Street expectations. Not the "happiest" place to work because no result is ever good enough and successes aren't celebrated because the focus is always on the next weekly/monthly/quarterly goal.
