Pros

Benefits. Gym membership discount. Gym on site and nap rooms. Chances to volunteer in the community. Fun events for holidays

Cons

When I first started I thought WSECU was great! After about 6 months I realized it wasn't anything I expected. The department I particularly worked in (MSD) is extremely corrupted! Favoritism runs rampant. Managers pick on leads and specialist, I saw my lead be undermined in front of other employees by management and other employees. Their is no respect. Also, the department is full of gossip and rumor starters. WSECU presents a "we all in" attitude but it is far from that. Myself and others have gone to HR with zero results.

Pros

Members are the best part of WSECU

Cons

Not an environment that supports neurodivergent employees. People and Culture Services presents as supportive during onboarding, but once you file for accomadations or raise concerns about treatment or how policies are applied, communication can shift and become inconsistent. If you rely on clear expectations, direct responses, or consistent application of policy, be aware that those may not hold once issues are formally raised. If you come here because they are convincing at least save everything and learn employee rights, because they won't tell you those.
