Pros

There is a so-so work/life balance. The company hosts social events every few months like bowling or movies to try to boost morale. Salary is decent but insurance premiums are expensive.

Cons

There is a disappointing amount of trust put into the people who actually do the work. There are so many layers of leadership at the company who make it known they are more valuable than the people who make the company money. Big problem of people not feeling valued. And every few months there's an infestation of bedbugs in the Dayton building. Woolpert won't close the office and take care of the problem. Instead they replace a few chairs every time they are discovered and then are surprised when they are found again in a month. When workers inevitably get bedbugs at home the company won't cover the cost of treatment at that person's house. Gross! Not much vacation until you've been around for many years.

Pros

Employees are passionate about their work and their customers. Flexibility is really great, the ability to work remotely when so many other companies are forcing people back to the office is a big plus. People are genuinely nice and want to help each other which is not something you find at every company.

Cons

A lot of change, but that is to be expected with how much the company is growing.
