Pros
-Some people are decent and have compassion/ empathy. Usually casuals you hardly see.
Cons
where do i start - Arrogant, power hungry and money driven management with no people skills, compassion or empathy. - HR who only support the power hungry managers because Zara is a money driven business. Don't let the fake "we care" blah blah fool you into thinking they care about your feelings as a human, let alone your want to progress. - 10 minutes briefings before every shift you don't get paid for - Huge tasks with unrealistic time limits - Really low wage. And i mean, really low. Always underpay and pay doesn't increase due to length of time you've been employed like most other companies. -Almost no internal promotion; all new positions are hired externally ( no career progression) - Low morale - No recognition or praise, immediate scalding if you make a harmless mistake - No proper training or guidelines - Crazy hours never needed for retail. Starting at 7am for fast fashion or retail is unjustifiable - Dated POS system - Intimidating and also power hungry head office team who come in, bark demands, upset everyone, then leave? - Expected to skip breaks/ supervisors never send people on breaks - Severe favouritism
