Pros

There are smart and kind colleagues, my pay was at market rate, and they have a good tech stack

Cons

- Work/life balance doesn't exist: I worked 80-100 hours per week despite actively working with my manager and VP on prioritizing asks from other cross-functional teams. Unlimited PTO looks good on paper, but there are black out periods (in December 2020, sales and marketing weren't allowed to take time off) and unmovable deadlines meant I had to over-work on other days, negating any time I took off. - Poor executive leadership: The executive team isn't well aligned, they had unrealistic deadlines, and they yell and berate you in front of others. - High churn of amazing people: I saw great people get burned out, snap, or could not justify sustaining their way of work at ZoomInfo in the long-term because of the toxic environment created by the above two points. - Healthcare benefits are poor: For the Greater Boston area, coverage was so terrible that I switched to my husband's health insurance.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. I never like to hear that an employee left ZoomInfo on bad terms. With regard to your work/life balance, 80-100 hours is not typical of ZoomInfo and I am sorry that was your experience. I also want to be clear that we absolutely do not tolerate bullying or harassment of any kind. If you would like to reach out to discuss what you experienced, I would be more than happy to speak with you personally. I would like to address your points about turnover and healthcare coverage as well. The talent ecosystem of mid- to large-sized SaaS companies, as well as the current economy and job market, means that hiring is extremely fast-paced and competitive, and can lead to a perception of churn. However, I’m happy to report that our turnover is actually below the industry benchmark. And although our benefits offerings are already great for our industry, we are making incremental improvements every single year. We keep extremely close tabs on the types of coverages our employees need for themselves and their families, as evidenced by our expanded Vision, Dental, and EPO healthcare plan options for this year – with even more improvements on the way for 2022! Thank you again for taking the time to leave your thoughts. – Alyssa Lahar, Chief Human Resources Officer

Pros

- The caliber of people here, from engineering to sales to operations. There's a collaborative, "figure it out together" culture rather than territorial silos. - Leadership is generally open to internal mobility and stretch assignments if you raise your hand. I've seen colleagues move across departments and take on bigger scope when they show initiative. - Solid and affordable health benefits compared to anywhere else I have worked, unlimited PTO, and perks that reflect a company that cares about employee wellbeing. - Things move fast here, which means you get exposure to a lot and can see the direct impact of your work relatively quickly compared to larger, more bureaucratic companies.

Cons

Like any growing company, it's not without its challenges. The pace can be intense, and priorities sometimes shift quickly.
