Pros

There are some really great people at ZoomInfo, the company continues to grow rapidly and there is a certain level of security that comes with that.

Cons

Zoominfo has the stereotypical tech bro culture throughout the entire organization. Most of management is completely out of touch with what day to day looks like for their employees and it’s very normal for people who are over working to be praised for this. Management will not make you feel good about taking time off and there are multiple blackout dates throughout the year. Another major red flag is there are very few minorities in any management positions. Management does not do a good job of providing feedback to help improve employees and it feels very much like you are just another pawn that is part of the organization. CSM management has many incompetents who continue to promote and hire other in incompetents. If you are looking to join a company where your work/life balance is important then do not apply to work at Zoominfo. To tie it all together the pay is much lower than most comparable organizations and even some that are much smaller.

Pros

Get stuff done culture. Really increased the talent density over time. Good people who genuinely care. Forward thinking on AI - most companies are not there

Cons

Pace can cause whiplash - but a lot of it is market conditions and the need to adapt

Pros

ZoomInfo has an incredible company culture that truly stands out-- even working remotely, you feel connected and part of something bigger. The company has a strong focus on being a leader in its space and is constantly innovating, which keeps the work exciting and meaningful. There is a genuine willingness to let ideas and concepts flourish, and employees are empowered to contribute in real ways. I am coming up on four years here, which speaks for itself-- this is a place where you can grow, get promoted quickly, and build a real career. The development resources are outstanding, including McKinsey Leadership programs, internal leadership courses, and LinkedIn Learning. Managers are supportive and invested in your success which makes showing up to work exciting

Cons

At times, communication between departments can be a challenge at the individual contributor level, which can make cross-functional collaboration feel a bit siloed. Additionally, there is still work to be done around diversity in leadership-- increasing representation of people of color and women in leadership roles would make an already great culture even stronger.
