Cool creative atmosphere at home office, skate area outside, great product discounts, interesting co-workers. In-house deli food was awesome!
Cons
My department was "encouraged" to work through lunch often and we were told to put a lunch period on our time sheet, even when we didn't take a lunch. While I have no problem working over-time to push through a deadline, we were made to feel like every day was a deadline. People were always leaving my department, by being fired or quitting for another position. There was no real work-life balance. If you were sick and had accrued time off, you were told that you should make up the hours you lost when you went to the doctor, instead of using your sick days/vacation time. Cons
This place cares more about the LGBTQ community than it does of the heterosexual community. I was not only treated differently than others but could not speak on some of the same issues as then/with them. I am 10 years older than most of ny former crew here and was also treated unfairly for my age with many ageist comments thrown my way. One complaint to E line from a coworker who days prior refused to even do his job and they fired me. Gave me no reason at all. I was constantly asked why I ask for a day off and constantly called to come in on my days off. I once asked 3 weeks ahead of time for a weekend shift off to spend my daughter to only be told it was "BS and personal time" so I shouldn't have even requested it off. Keep in mind I applied for this time off 3 weeks ahead (they ask for two) and asked for it to be unpaid.
