      Pros

      The people at eBay really made the experience special. People actually cared for each other and their work life balances. Personal lives were respected. As an early career designer, work politics were very minimal. Much less than what I heard from people at other big companies. Managers really care about and are encouraged to support your growth and professional development.

      Cons

      Big company, things felt slow at times, many stakeholders and levels of reviews. Churn in the product org and shifting priorities. Maybe about a third of my projects were deprioritized at one point or another, and I didn't get to see them through.

      Pros

      Good work, lots of AI experiments, AI innovation, latest tech stack, Co-workers are very co-operative and helpful. Most AI tools are still unlimited.

      Cons

      Some teams are over-working due to smaller teams as a result of recent layoffs. Office perks (like catered food, snacks) are dwindling every quarter even though company wants every employee to be 3 days a week in office. Company wants 80 percent code to be generated by AI but no clear guideline how to achieve that.
