Plus eBay's mission is very inspiring! I come to work each day knowing that what I do contributes to the livelihood of so many people that might not otherwise have incomes. From the furniture-maker in a small village in India, to the retiree supplementing his Social Security, we've helped them find a market for their goods and gain financial independance.
Cons
Doing an exceptional job is the norm around here, so it's hard to stand out or get special recognition. And obviously, we're trying to make some fundamental improvements to the marketplace right now (2007/2008), and it's causing sellers a lot of pain. We all wish it could happen without that. The press has been pretty one-sided about what is going on,
