I worked at EnCompass full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Good people for the most part. It was a great company until certain unqualified people got promoted to positions that hey had NO business being in, and they ran it into the ground and jumped out with their golden parachutes

    Cons

Took a once excellent company and turned it into a VERY badly managed one,

    Advice to Management

Don't make deals with GPO's that give away the farm. Don't sell off sales reps ability to sell profitable products due to your greed. Gives attainable sales plans in a realistic, timely manner

    I worked at EnCompass full-time

    Pros

Free travel and stay to Dallas. Cultural committee

    Cons

Micro managing to the inth degree. Looks to destabilize reputable agencies via acquisitions and then pass it off as mistakes that should have been addressed prior to. There is not a sense of team effort. It's every man for himself, don't try and help just stay in your own lane

    Advice to Management

Please stop trying to take over the home health world

I worked at EnCompass for more than 3 years

    Pros

working with children some staff very bright, qualified and caring sometimes excellent curriculum office in a nice bldg.

    Cons

little room for advancement top management doesn't seem to know or care about issues/problems we face sometimes odd & untested curriculum not the best for these children some employees hired on short notice without seeing if better staff might be available good teachers seem to be held in low regard some projects cancelled or changed on short notice

    Advice to Management

HR should help recruit better qualified staff Joe seems to mean well, but he's not an educator and his efforts seem misdirected
