Pros

-There are some truly wonderful people on this team that I am glad to know. - It's a job.

Cons

By far the most unprofessional and disorganized company I've been a part of. There is effectively zero onboarding. Goals are nebulous, guidance and support meager at best, and decisions are made with impulse rather than strategy, intention and proper consideration. It's a firmly fear-based culture. Be prepared to walk on eggshells and have any inspiration whittled away. There being no real HR, you feel you have no resources to properly address even minor issues, but that is very much by design. Find some place else where the culture and values discussed/promoted are real and exemplified by leadership.

Pros

They'll hire you on the spot during the interview 🚩. So if you are hungry for a job, ones available fast.

Cons

Secretive style of work, no one collaborates or shares ideas or offers to help you, only criticisms flow freely.

Pros

Flexible scheduling for work-life balance.

Cons

There are no employee growth paths or hierarchical structure. Upper management does not provide up-skilling opportunities. Employees are underpaid and reviews are typically only upon request, unless middle management takes initiative. Review performance is based on whether upper management likes you. Management tactics do not empower employees. Employees are responsible for boosting their own morale. Emotional manipulation/use of fear/toxic behavior is often used as coercion to leave or to decrease self-confidence in the event you say or do something that challenges their norm. There is no formal HR department for employees to voice concerns, only upper management, who also happens to determine salary. Employees that show potential or that can handle a lot are typically overworked to keep things low cost.
