Pros

Environmental Incentive has a unique approach that creates interesting tasks for staff and useful products for clients.

Cons

Environmental Incentives struggles with project management and business development. As a result, staff suffer. There is consistently confusion on project roles and the project approach. As a result, projects are routinely over budget. Further, some senior staff refuse to take responsibility for the clear issues with project management. These staff continue to be promoted despite poor performance. These same senior staff continue to fail at business development and repeatedly hire at the wrong time. As a result, staff are let go or shuffled to other managers because there isn't enough work. This issue is made worse by the fact that junior staff are blamed for not meeting utilization targets even though there isn't enough work for them to do because of the poor decisions by senior staff. Overall, staff growth is hindered by pervasive and severe management issues.

Pros

Hardworking colleagues, good benefits, unique work opportunities.

Cons

Lower pay than other agencies, rough work-life balance, certain divisions lack any business development momentum which leads to workers fighting for utilization. General lack of diversity among staff can stymie new ideas.

Pros

Work with interesting clients who have tremendous influence and who need your help to be more effective Tremendous growth from 2018 to present (2020). Doubled in size, adding more people and clients all the time. Huge opportunities for staff development and career growth (both inside and outside the company). Possibility to switch between domestic (US) and international focus Competitive salary and benefits - especially for staff who stay for 2+ years Flexible schedule and work from home arrangements (even for junior staff). Expectation that all staff work 40 - 45 hours / week on average (compare with many competitors that push staff much harder) Close-knit team where people look out for each other.

Cons

Infrequent after-hours calls (clients in many time zones). Occassional long days/ weeks (in a year, usually 3 - 4 weeks near 50 hours). Highly productive environment means that everyone has to keep up (there are no dull days and no slackers). Rapid growth means roles frequently shift. This creates opportunities to work on new projects or take on more responsibilities but also sometimes leads to confusion.
