Pros

Remote work is a major plus. Good entry point into utilization review and workers’ compensation. You learn medical terminology, guidelines, claims processes, and client-specific requirements quickly. Some team members and leads are helpful and supportive. The work can be steady and predictable once you understand the process.

Cons

Training can feel overwhelming because there are many clients, portals, rules, and exceptions. Workload can become high, especially near deadlines. Processes and instructions may change often. The role requires strong attention to detail, and small mistakes can become stressful. Pay may feel low compared to the amount of responsibility and complexity. Communication and expectations are not always as clear as they could be.

Pros

No micromanaging, completely left to work your cases with small updates. Simple report and updating system.

Cons

Video needs to be put through a software you have to pay for. Not much communication about busy or slow season. I went three weeks without work and never got a call or email to keep me in the loop.

Pros

Their onboarding process isn't hard.

Cons

They 'hire' people just to keep them from working for competitors. I was "hired" for a part-time job (told it would be around 20 hours per week) and have not worked in a month. Despite there being no work in my area, they are still actively advertising the same position in the same city on various job boards. Not sure if this is even legal, but it shouldn't be.
