    Pros

Company is very flexible on hours but is very focused on stated results. Management communicates clearly and often, no guessing. Feedback is clear and timely. Global company with many talented people who are intelligent and very helpful. A place for dedicated people who enjoy working and a fast paced atmosphere.

    Cons

A lot to learn very quickly. Being global means never meeting the majority of coworkers and learning many different cultures. Some may feel that the clear feedback is harsh but I very much prefer it. Not a place for people who are afraid of leaving there comfort zones, you will be expected to achieve results without all a clear playbook. Not for the fait hearted, you will be challenged.

    Advice to Management

Continue on present track – it is working. Continue to question everything and challenge employees. It would be great to have a clearer “who does what” chart.

I worked at Etilize full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

An innovative company whose founder actually created a market for data that didn't exist before. At the time of my employment Etilize was a successful, multi-national company with employees in the US, Canada and Pakistan. It was purchased by GfK, a huge German marketing behemoth.

    Cons

The bulk of Etilize's employees are in Pakistan. The time difference can be an asset in a 24 hour world, but can make separating work time and personal time difficult. Understandably, employees need to be available to support the company's customers at any time of the day or night.

    Pros

The pay was good, their niche was advantageous to the market because there is almost no competition

    Cons

You are expected to give one of your limbs or your firstborn to work here. If you want time off you will be guilted heavily by the senior management and others. Those who work 18 hours per day are the ones who get promoted.

    Advice to Management

Let people have a life. Stop the intimidation and unspoken threats to those who have families. Try to evolve with your product suite

    Pros

    Company gives great flexibility.
A lot of freedom for work/life balance.
Good opportunities for taking ownership of projects since there is more work to do than people capable of doing it.

    Cons

Focus is on costs instead of creating value.
No effort or desire to attract and retain top talent - focus is on low cost.
    No innovation or new products.

    Advice to Management

Take care of the people. It needs to be a place that people want to work, where smart, driven people are attracted to and retained.

Western Culture, bring your food, wash your plates, eat, wash your plates again. You even make tea yourself.

Politics is ZERO with GfK Etilize and everyone is supportive
