      Cons

      Data team technology management is a disaster . In NY it is lead by a global head who never wrote a line of code in his life . He has no understanding of Software Engineering.

      Pros

      Since most departments are understaffed, you’ll have the ability to accelerate your career if you’re a self starter because you’ll need to do so. It’ll build up your resume quickly to enable you to pursue a job elsewhere.

      Cons

      There has been an incredible about of turnover across the firm - long before the great resignation. In some years existing hires are kept flat on their performance bonus. Base salaries rarely are adjusted even with stellar performance. Not enough people on the team have actually worked at a hedge fund prior to joining.

      - some team members are great

      Cons

      - culture is lacking - not many resources available that are available at other similar firms - no perks (told they have a fully stocked kitchen....in reality, there have about 3 lackluster snacks) - micromanagement, no room to give suggestions to improve processes - not much support offered and egotistical
