Pros

Co-workers are the best part on my job; without them, wouldn't be worth staying.

Cons

Poor collaboration between business and IT groups, which results in poor solutions. Too much reliance on consultants, who add limited value. New executive management does not understand FMC's business segments at the level they need to, resulting in poor strategic decisions and planning.

Pros

Competitive Salary and fair benefits.

Cons

Executive Leadership was horrible. After I joining the company, I noticed that bad managers who sucked up to senior management were rewarded and promoted inspite of the figurative trail of bodies they left behind. Specifically, the senior leadership did not handle constructive criticism and feedback well. I observed the "blacklisting" of existing employees whom had approached senior management with ideas on how to improve the workplace and then these people (myself included) would be muted and pushed aside. Human Resources had a punitive culture and was transparently for protecting the companies not for supporting employees in their career growth and development. Employee retention in the US was at an all time low with nearly 40% of employees looking for career opportunities outside of the organization.

Pros

Good salary and benefits, that's about it

Cons

Overall, there is just a bad, negative energy present in the corporate office. The company is poorly run and loaded with unethical managers who very clearly don't know what they are doing and blame everything on staff who are given poor leadership and direction. Most managers don't even bother to come into the office many days a week and "work from home." There also seems to be a consistent pattern of removing or driving out competent long time staff and replacing with incompetent new employees and managers, sometimes two and three individuals to do the job one competent person could do, yet somehow incompetent employees who shut up and just tow the line and keep their head down like the walking dead somehow retain their job despite contributing nothing beneficial other than taking up space. I am not sure how this company makes any money and honestly believe it will crumble or be bought out soon.
