I have been working at Faurecia full-time

    Pros

some good work ethnics and standards

    Cons

seems to be management is a lot of the problems at a lot of the plants. The pay isn't the greatest, I am sure its because they have to pay so many upper people the big bucks. They cut heads from production because the numbers go down but they have all the same amount in pc&l and logistics. So operators has to do more work and not get anymore money for it. After all the time and all the crazy hours we put in for this company, they didn't try very hard to get us any new business, so we don't have a job after this contract with GM is done in 2019. I guess we didn't get a chance to see how great Faurecia is. We were always told that Lansing didn't make any money, so we didn't get to do all the cool things the other plants got to do. They had to bring in the union , because the management (supervisors) didn't treat people very fair. So I guess we lose all the way around.

    Advice to Management

always try to boost morale, treat people fairly, back up the ones that need it.

    Pros

    Co-workers are great
    Access to cafeteria

    Cons

    Where to start....
Poor management that doesn't listen to employees.
    Miscommunication between all management.
Low base pay for people who do more advanced work.
    Terrible work/life balance
    Work 7 days a week
Expected to do things not relative to job title
HR is useless especially when there are 5 of them
Management plays favorites and thus gets treated better

    Advice to Management

Start over. For a brand new plant you guys don't know what you're doing. Hire competent management.

    Pros

    Good pay for this area

    Cons

Management is the reason for OT. (80 + hrs a week). No time for family. If they know you might get a Sunday off, they don't tell you till near clock out on Saturday . No chance to make plans. Supervision bullies employees. All upper management friends are first to be promoted. This isn't disgruntled talk. Its amazing how corrupt.

    Advice to Management

They all need more Jesus in their lives. How to treat your fellow man. Worst organization I've ever heard of.
