    Pros

You get to experience and handle all parts of the solution, end to end from SW to HW

    Cons

Stressful working environment during major deployment.
You can travel quite a lot, depends on the account

I worked at Flash Networks full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Not too many. Pay is good because the company is a bit desperate.

    Cons

This company peaked a few years ago, and unfortunately never hockey sticked. This is somewhat common with Israeli start-ups. No products, old technology, poor management (Recently fired the CEO, CFO, ETC...) They have been trying to sell the company for years, but nobody wants to buy it. The company is being run by the second tier managers now. It is likely to be sold off in bits and pieces to other companies.

    Advice to Management

    IDK

    Pros

Technology, people, promotion opportunities, customer support processes.

    Cons

Senior management knows it all, and without a Marketing chief. Not working.

    Advice to Management

Need to have a solid Marketing leader (not CEO or CTO!) and plan. You can't lead the company from the technology perspective.

I worked at Flash Networks full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Have carved out a unique niche in the wireless data industry. Have a relatively good product - although they do struggle with quality issues. They also have some very intelligent and competent people working both here in the US and in their home office in Israel.

    Cons

Surprised by the nice things said about US mgt team. I found them to be extremely arrogant and expected employees to work 60+ hours a week with NO work/life balance. The management team in Israel seems to constantly struggle to find their place in the telecom industry - they even joking refer to themselves as a 18 year old startup.

    Advice to Management

Get a clue! - both re how to manage a company in the US - specifically learn how to listen to your customer (I agree that this is what caused them to lose VZW as a customer). And quit trying to hide the fact you are an Israeli company!! Embrace this as the benefit that it is!

    Pros

The U.S. Support/Delivery Managment is top notch and cares about their employees.

    Cons

Corporate Managment are lacking in leadership. Corporate has no idea how to grow a company, and don't know the meaning of humble. They are way to arrogant. Which is what lost them Verizon.

    Advice to Management

Shut up and listen to your customers' needs instead of telling them what they need.

I worked at Flash Networks full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Has some good leaders in the support area.

    Cons

Company appears to be facing some serious economic conditions as it laid off a large number of people from its Mobixell Networks acquisition in June 2014.

    Advice to Management

Needs to figure out what it wants to be instead of acquiring companies to buy customers.
