I have been working at For Eyes full-time

    Pros

A fun and friendly environment, not a lot of corporate red tape, and the company is constantly looking for ways to improve the customer service. Fast-paced, an opportunity to think outside the box and a lot of flexibility.

    Cons

    I don't have an office

    Advice to Management

Continue to listen to employees, to find ways to support employees and implement a bonus program for all corporate employees.

I have been working at For Eyes part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The company generally has flexible hours. For Eyes also has a decent incentive program. They won't fire you unless they've explored every opportunity to improve your performance.

    Cons

Corporate nonsense. Lab that messes up jobs. Not competitive pay. High regional manager turnover. No trust in associates to do their jobs.

    Advice to Management

PAY US MORE MONEY IF YOURE GOING TO KEEP MAKING THE JOB MORE DIFFICULT FOR US TO DO.

    Pros

Still some good people try to treat customers good. You might can grow career if company expands like they say.

    Cons

Used to be a great company, but since people grinding glasses got fired and now come from Thailand its bad quality products for high price. Management don't listen. Its all numbers numbers numbers nothing about lets take care of customers so they might just come back again.

    Advice to Management

Treat employees better. They make the money that pays your fat salary.

I worked at For Eyes full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Schedule is pretty flexible. Patients are nice and most doctors are too. Commission was decent. Good starting point for optical sales and opticians.

    Cons

Open late and open on Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Christmas Eve (new change). Management and upper management played favorites.

    Advice to Management

Don't play favorites. Some employees could do no wrong. And good and long term employees don't get compensated if not liked.

    Advice to Management

Pay people. There is something wrong if people leave once they have a little experience.

I worked at For Eyes full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

None this company is shady and unethical. They made me wait after hiring me over a month and then told me they'd offer less then what they promised.

    Cons

This company hired me back at the beginning of August and told me as a licensed optician I would make 20/hr plus 2% commission on sales. After over a month goes by and I actually turn down a job offer at Facey medical group for 23/hr because I thought this was more they finally call me and say ok everything check out but corporate only will offer 15/hr. Needless to say I turned that bs offer down.

    Advice to Management

    Ethics, ethics, ethics
