I have been working at For Eyes full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Closer to home for my work office.

    Cons

They did not check my experience, education, etc. I was easily able to get a Manager position without have the correct education or experience.

    Advice to Management

    Have stricter background checks.

I have been working at For Eyes full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You have your weekends to yourself
Employees are nice to work with for the most part
    New building is nice

    Cons

-Poor management team that is constantly changing (new people come in and ask the same questions over and over)
-Turnover is high, I've seen good people leave the company because it's just too much at times and there is no understanding of who does what
-Hours are long during the week
-Benefits are terrible if you need it for more than just yourself
-No patience to see anything through
-Systems are very manual and no one seems to care to fix it

    Advice to Management

Really take the time to understand the issues the company is having before pushing us in one direction to just push us in another direction 6 months after. Benefits have to get much better. Insurance cost is too high and there is no 401k match.

I worked at For Eyes full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I learned not to hold men to a higher standard and not put up with sexual harassment and abuse of any kind. It is not acceptable and should not be tolerated.

    Cons

Sexual harassment, abuse, discrimination, glass ceiling, retaliation to the max. Gave women cars(BMW CLUB), real estate property, and financial settlements to keep your mouth shut about harassment. That was the price women had to pay to work there.
The settlements did not make up for the tortuous experience of this job. All the head honchos were guilty. The previous owner was the leader of the pack (little boys club). Family business??? The owners daughter(last CEO) either watched or was kept in the dark$$$$$$.

I have been working at For Eyes full-time

    Pros

A fun and friendly environment, not a lot of corporate red tape, and the company is constantly looking for ways to improve the customer service. Fast-paced, an opportunity to think outside the box and a lot of flexibility.

    Cons

    I don't have an office

    Advice to Management

Continue to listen to employees, to find ways to support employees and implement a bonus program for all corporate employees.

I worked at For Eyes (More than a year)

    Pros

Not many actually, you are doing the work of 4-5 employees for bupkis money

    Cons

The doctor is short tempered, you barely get a lunch, pay is barely livable and you hardly ever leave on time

    Advice to Management

Pay people what they deserve, monitor the way doctors speak to employees, offer growth potential

I have been working at For Eyes part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The company generally has flexible hours. For Eyes also has a decent incentive program. They won't fire you unless they've explored every opportunity to improve your performance.

    Cons

Corporate nonsense. Lab that messes up jobs. Not competitive pay. High regional manager turnover. No trust in associates to do their jobs.

    Advice to Management

PAY US MORE MONEY IF YOURE GOING TO KEEP MAKING THE JOB MORE DIFFICULT FOR US TO DO.

    Pros

Still some good people try to treat customers good. You might can grow career if company expands like they say.

    Cons

Used to be a great company, but since people grinding glasses got fired and now come from Thailand its bad quality products for high price. Management don't listen. Its all numbers numbers numbers nothing about lets take care of customers so they might just come back again.

    Advice to Management

Treat employees better. They make the money that pays your fat salary.
