Pros

They do offer 56 hours of paid sick leave per year. There is also a 401K retirement savings plan available.

Cons

The work-life balance is atrocious, and the benefits do not make up for it. If you are an exempt employee, you are expected to work as much of the day as necessary to get the job done, and the company provides zero overtime or additional compensation for it. This routinely translates into 50-60 hour work weeks where you are only effectively compensated for 40. Seeing the actuals versus the budgets on these projects makes the amount of uncompensated labor glaringly obvious. The working conditions for many staff members, particularly visa-dependent employees, feel horrific. On top of the burnout, the vacation policy is basically non-existent; you max out at a mere 10 days (80 hours) of vacation for your first four years of employment.

Pros

Great team to work with. The H&S team genuinely collaborates with operations and field teams to ensure the health and safety of employees and others are properly looked after. Senior management is committed to maintaining high safety standards and is willing to invest in safety initiatives.

Cons

Like any other high-performing contractor in the industry, there are times when work hours at project sites may need to be extended to ensure projects are delivered on schedule. However, everyone within the company is encouraged by the leadership team to exercise “Stop Work Authority” whenever they feel that something is unsafe or not right.

Pros

They pay weekly and occasionally get you food

Cons

This company is too top heavy there are too many chefs in the kitchen. There is no job security here once the project gets complete you will get laid off. You will work 60+ hours a week and only get paid for 40. They only see you as a piece to the project there is no career development here. There is no good communication because they will just lay you off once the project gets complete.
