Pros

Great team of people with high energy and always willing to share work

Cons

Teams are pretty separated and hard to try out something you're interested in if you're not on that team

Pros

• Excellent projects (mostly in banking, insurance though) • Abundance of onshore opportunities • Chance to be part of McKinsey, BCG projects • Directly in touch with the client • Freedom to run your project • Latest design tools like Figma, Sketch etc. • Everyone gets a MacBook • Bosses are very approachable and listen • Salaries are more than other design studios

Cons

• People exist in small groups and don't mix outside of them. Even before the lockdown it used to feel like we were are a group of freelancers working together. The collective vibe needs some loving. • Organisation has a flat hierarchy. Depends if you see it as a pro or a con. It looked like a con to me because there were no reviews by seniors. Senior designers add little value to your work. • Project planning is generally poor. Example, designers are onboarded basis their availability and not their experience. Sometimes junior designers are onboarded in key roles just because they are available.

Pros

Colleagues can be helpful and supportive.

Cons

The salaries do not meet market standards and even after multiple appraisals one might only see a slight increase in their base pay. The level of loyalty expected from the employees is almost unreal as the nature of any business is a two way street. Employees end up in projects as third party consultants as there is no sales team and hence they have to piggy back on another consultation firm's projects, which basically means the employee is at the stake of that other firm and the management lacks a spine to deal with any problems/issues because of the fear of their revenue getting compromised. Client relationships are treated sanctimoniously. Some employees are given preferable treatment, no matter how bad their skills are. Its almost the lowest level of professionalism when people lose their promotions on the basis of meaningless gossips.
