I have been working at FreightWatch full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The starting pay is decent, and the other reps are good to work with.

    Cons

Too many unneccessary issues to deal with concerning customers' demands. The raises, when provided, are nothing to get excited about.

    Advice to Management

Upper management really needs to learn to tell the customer, "NO!"

    Pros

Great team to work with. The management team and HR department are good to work with. They want me to grow in my career and help with tuition assistance. They have several employee communications and also pay on the spot and recular bonuses. I really enjoy working there.

    Cons

The only downside would be needing some type of benefit for childcare, such as a stipend or other to use for putting your kids in daycare.

    Pros

Good, clean working environment; Employees provided with up to date technology and most tools to complete the job; Employees provided with free drinks in breakroom; Decent bonuses. Nice team members to work with.

    Cons

Advancement within the company is not based upon your skills, but whether you are liked by 5 key people.Too many political games played in this company. Your supervisor's opinion and expectation of your performance does not matter to your advancement within the company. Each employee has more than one manager, as well as HR. HRis too involved in day to day activities, rather than HR remaining the objective and neutral department. HRdoes not complete thorough investigations into complaints and will side with management rather than investigate the problem. Overtime work is the expected norm, without employee complaint or comment. Too many meetings to talk about what needs to be done. New employee and new product traininng is non-existent. An employee must have the assignment in writing for it to be valid. Expectations of employees performance and job duties varies from management personnel. Vacation and holiday time off is the bare minimum. Email, cell phone and text messages are company property and are regularly perused by management.

    Advice to Management

Too much involvement on a day to day basis by HR, on things that need to be handled by manager or supervisor. HR is not an objective, un-biased, neutral department that employees can feel comfortable going to in the event of problems. Managers feel that they need to manage any and all employees, even if they do not directly manage an employee. The phrase "too many cooks spoil the soup" should be adheared to on a daily basis by management and by HR.

    Pros

A few co-workers are decent people.

    Cons

Worst training period you are thrown into rush hour freeway traffic with minimal instructions with a stick shift (1st time driving) people literally walk out from the poor training environment within hours of their 1st day you ask for clearer successful instructions they will fire you within a month if you don't pick it up though the training is poor senior employees walk out daily at shift ends with headaches migraines and exhausted from the stressful overload turn over is extremely high as you "Might" get paper instructions on how to perform duties in your 2nd week "AVOID" this place at all costs good people should not be fired because you provide poor training!

    Advice to Management

Create a proper training area to provide quality training and reduce the extremely high turn over thus increasing retention if not fire yourself for not managing properly there is more to management than just a title!
