Pros

Owners are good guys and friendly. Give you autonomy for the most part and if you prove yourself they will give you size to trade.

Cons

Not very structured and for the most part you are on your own to learn how to make money. New hires have high fixed costs to overcome and post costs, they will take 50% of your income. They also don't embrace change as quickly as they need to - they try to but just don't know how to put aside "the good 'ole days."

Pros

Fair commission structure. The hours are great if you can throw your trades on and make money then get out. They pay is great when you are making money. The company will give you good size to really start making some serious money.

Cons

Very slow on adapting to the changing trading conditions. Some strategies are just not working anymore, and the company tried looking at other products to trade, rather than treasuries, but that was short-lived. The fees are very high for trading. You will have to pay sitting fee, broker fees, etc...it adds up before you get to the split with the company. If you are slow and not at the top of your training class - management will fire you or ignore you completely.
