    I worked at Gen110 part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

great environment, supportive coworkers, self driven, funny stories, important work

    Cons

risk of awkward/hostile interactions, exhausting to communicate patiently with everyone, bonus dependent not just on your work but also on the house's eligibility which is not entirely within your control

    Advice to Management

continue to foster that positive team environment

    Pros

The job responsibilities provided a new challenge every day. The dress code was relaxed. There was freedom to manage your schedule as you saw fit.

    Cons

Product is not easily distinguishable from competitors making the sales positions increasingly challenging by the day. Price point was higher than competition.

  5. "Canvassing is rough, but this is a great company"

I worked at Gen110 (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great people, really fun work environment, do a good job training and preparing you for the work. Decent hourly wage, so you don't have to worry too much about bonuses/commission. Lots of opportunity to move up, I saw lots of people get promoted from the canvassing team into more professional roles

    Cons

Door to door canvassing is a seriously rough job, doesn't matter how good the company is. Bonuses are hard to get. Hours are unusual (2-10pm ish), so the job is best suited to the young and single.

    Advice to Management

Be a little more transparent about how difficult the bonuses are to get. Other than that, this is a very well run operation.

  6. "Slow Growing Sales Team"

Former Employee - Inside Sales Representative in Oakland, CA

    I worked at Gen110 full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Sales manager fairly hands-off, supportive team members, not too competitive

    Cons

Not enough work for sales team, sometimes had to work bad hours, bonuses were hard to reach, very little training

    Advice to Management

Invest more in sales team and train employees more - there's only so much you can do with a limited number of leads.

  10. Helpful (1)

    "Okay"

    Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

    Pros

Flexible schedule and minimal training. The was a short training period that paid. Management gave a lot of freedom on how you handled your accounts.

    Cons

Company was only about profits. There was no real bond with management of CEO. Sales were the only thing that was important over employees and customers.

    Advice to Management

Get new management. The were many inexperienced managers, kids who were fresh out of college. I would hire people with at least a little bit of experience in sales to be a sales manager.
