I have been working at Glock full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Clean, high tech environment, excellent management that appreciates us, benefits galore, 3 weeks PTO per year, company pays for individual health insurance, good camaraderie among the crews.

    Cons

Most positions require you go first through a temp agency and it can often be many months before you're hired through Glock. Most temp agencies pay $10 per hour, then $11.50 after 90 days. Once hired by Glock the pay is significantly more.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great benefits!!!!

I worked at Glock full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent benefits and well respected in the industry.

    Cons

If you aren't related to someone employed at Glock chances are you won't last long. This is a HORRIBLE 'good ole boy' environment that doesn't reward effort or work. Expect poor pay and practically zero raises or bonus unless you are management. Mgmt salary and perks FAR outweigh their skill and are wildly disproportionate to the rest. The org is also on the decline as they have lost focus form their logo 'Perfection'.

I worked at Glock full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The benefits are great. It's good working with many different cultures. Climate is controlled. And the work is not hard. People are nice.

    Cons

Most positions are standing. There's heavy lifting all day. And communication is lacking and management skills are too. Machines are not maintained often enough causing them to fail.

    Advice to Management

Work closer to your employees. Investigate on your own.

    Pros

No pros, horrible place to work

    Cons

    Favoritism
    Racism

This was a horrible company to work for. Most of their upper management is uneducated and have been promoted through knowing someone who works there on a personal level.

I worked at Glock full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Glock is a great environment to work in.The employees are nice and friendly. The work is fairly easy and easy to get the hang of. You get to make guns parts and learn different models of guns

    Cons

They mostly only hire through temp agencies and only pay $10 an hour. They will terminate you without reason or warning. Glock keeps a steady rotation of Temps so not many people are there very long so don't worry about learning names or making friends you will more then likely be gone in a few weeks or a month. FOR THOSE FEW that make it through 90 days most will not get hired as full time employees just long term Temps so no benefits will be paid and no raise in pay. Glock is a nice place to work while you are there but they are running a game to keep from paying benefits and higher wages to keep their cost down its a real shame because it's a great place other wise

    Advice to Management

Stop playing games with people lives with temp jobs that will never be full time position. Stop letting go hard workers just to get the next temp in the door so you don't have to pay benefits and competitive wages

I have been working at Glock full-time

    Pros

You get to be a part of a cool company. The benefits are really really good. You get to work around guns.

    Cons

Management doesn't seem to care about the employees, just the numbers. They don't seem to hire within for bigger positions, and don't pay their saleman enough money.
